Industrial Reports

The contents of this test report is the culmination of the efforts of a major bus company in Hong Kong, and the manufacturer of LIQUID BEARING (then known as Formula 4-10) lubricant treatment products.

The purpose of the test was to determine the amount of wear reduction possible through the use of LIQUID BEARING. Using 10 "control" buses and 10 "test" buses, oil samples were taken during the monthly oil change interval and sent for spectrographic analysis.

The following table illustrates the overall changes in wear metals in the oil between the first and last oil sampling periods. The use of LIQUID BEARING in this application gave a minimum reduction of 30% in wear metals travelling in the oil.
